So future generations would know the Lord

The first years of a person’s life are extremely crucial in laying a foundation for their future, and the strength of the church depends on it. We prioritize children and students when we create an environment and a culture where they learn to see God for who he is, see themselves the way he sees them, and to love others the way he loves us.
Experience

Point them to Jesus

The most important thing we can do for our children is to teach them about Jesus. Our children and student ministries give them the opportunity to discover him and know him more, while growing up with other believers.
Culture

There is a Battle

A battle rages for this generation and we can’t afford to lose. As a church, we create environments where kids have a place to belong and be accepted, and we also equip parents to be positive influencers in their lives.
Equipping

Building the Church

Each generation learns from the generation before it and serves the generation after it. We want to help them build lasting relationships with Jesus and one another, and equip and empower them to make a difference.
“So the next generation might know them—even the children not yet born—and they in turn will teach their own children.”
Psalm 78:6
Impact

NextGen Ministries

Birth – 5th Grade
As a ministry focused on early childhood through elementary, we offer age-appropriate environments and experiences to introduce children to the hope of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, as well as equipping and empowering parents to lead their families spiritually.

Services

Children’s services are held in exciting learning environments and filled with worship songs, crafts, and great Bible stories that teach God’s Word for their age level.

Kidscamp

Our big event every summer is an unforgettable time for many children, with fun activities and engaging lessons that often leave a lasting impact.
6th – 12th Grade
Our students come from different cities, schools, interests, and walks of life. We’ve intentionally created environments and experiences for them that provide opportunities to connect, to bring friends and make new ones, and to discover for themselves who Jesus is and what a relationship with him looks like.

Gatherings

Students at each campus gather regularly, and with other campuses at ONE NIGHT, to connect with friends, hear relevant teaching, and experience powerful worship.

Groups

Small groups are a source of friendship, support, and family, in which students discuss the Bible and relevant topics, and have lots of fun together.

Camp

Every single year, hundreds of lives are changed at Summer Camp. With a few undistracted days, students can spend time with Jesus and each other.
Our mission is to educate, train, and disciple church and world leaders. We offer a Christ-centered education through Southeastern University, a regionally accredited institution, which equips students with practical hands-on experience that leads them to discover their calling.

Educate

Through our partnership, students see the benefits of community, worship, biblical courses, and learning from ministry leaders. Through these valuable resources, they can build a foundation for their development.

Train

Our ministry, creative, and business environments bridge classroom learning with real experience are endless, resulting in self-motivated, creative individuals who are ready for their next steps by the time they graduate.

Develop

We are shaping a generation that shapes the world by providing access to a vast number of ways to serve within the church and community, preparing them for servant leadership as they continue their journeys.
Investment

Putting our resources where they are needed the most.

Environments

A Place to Belong.

We invest in environments that are both safe and welcoming to the next generation, where they actually want to be and know they belong. It is our desire to to create such a space that is specifically designed with them in mind in order to foster their relationships with Jesus and others.
Scholarships

Nobody Left Out.

We never want money to be an obstacle keeping somebody from encountering Christ or following him more closely. Scholarships bridge the gap between what Seacoast invests in and what parents pay, while keeping camps or college affordable for those who need financial assistance.

Mount Pleasant

Additional space for children's environments

Our children’s environments have reached maximum capacity for weekend services and events. Our long-term plans include updating our existing spaces to be fun and exciting, creating additional space for our special needs ministry and expanding our nursery areas. We currently have approved plans and blueprints and are preparing appropriate timelines.

Pray for children to experience the love of Christ in these new classrooms. Pray also for the architects and engineers as they design state-of-the-art classrooms for our kids.

Annual Operating Costs & Scholarships

SEU Seacoast Campus is a regional campus for Southeastern University (Lakeland, FL). Since its launch in 2017, SEU Seacoast Campus has had 106 students and 34 graduates. The campus offers 17 degree options (undergraduate and masters) and 3 development tracks. In addition to students earning their academic degrees, they serve in practicums all across Seacoast departments and campuses.

In 2020, SEU Seacoast moved all classrooms into the Mount Pleasant Campus facility. The operating costs of SEU Seacoast include staffing and student housing, along with programmatic essentials, such as practicum costs, student life events, recruiting events, and mission trips.

We also would like to provide scholarships for students wanting to attend our school. Due to Southeastern University’s main campus being located in Lakeland, Florida, students cannot use the South Carolina scholarship money. Therefore, having Legacy scholarship money available for academically strong, or special-circumstance students, would be an incredible blessing for SEU Seacoast.

Pray that God will continue to give direction to the leadership of SEU Seacoast and Southeastern University, and that students will thrive academically and spiritually in their practicums. Pray that God will give us favor with the South Carolina Higher Education Commission for local SC students to be able to use SC state scholarship funds.

OPERATING COST FOR SEU: $88,000 annually
COST TO FUND 1 STUDENT DEGREE : $10,000 annually

Help us reach our goal of raising $2.5 million for Next Generation this year.
